There are many ways to describe Ashley Syd: unique, talented and charismatic. Above all, Ashley Syd is real. The American-Barbadian artist, who recently graduated from Temple University, sings honestly and from the soul combining art, story and song in perfect unison.

Since the early age of 4, Syd has had a deep love for music. Growing up, she was heavily influenced by artists such as Luther Vandross, Alicia Keys, and Rihanna. Songwriting on and off again from the age of 6, Syd began writing seriously in 2018.

Releasing her first single "Back in Time" in 2020, promptly followed by her single "2003" in 2021, this is only the beginning of the Philadelphia native's, soon to be large discography.
